Pernod Ricard’s premium wine and spirits collection, Signé, has launched a new online fraternity for the bartending community.
Called The Collective, it describes itself as a part-online magazine, part-social network, and part-loyalty program and is designed to provide a platform for Australia’s top hospitality professionals to discuss trends and industry news.
Regular sections will include ‘Mentors’, where industry greats share their thoughts and philosophies on bartending, and ‘Rising Stars’ which profiles up-and-coming bartenders.
The website also features a loyalty program, whereby venue managers can accumulate and redeem points for prizes such as parasailing or dinners to reward their staff.
Signé spirits brand ambassador Ben Davidson said that the website would act as a “great resource” for bartenders.
"Bartenders love being in the 'know' as soon as it happens,” he said. “With our global network of trendsetters and mentors we will be feeding information into The Collective in real time".
Full access to the website is by invitation only, with membership limited to the elite bartenders and hospitality professionals across Australia.
The Signe portfolio includes Chivas Regal Scotch whisky, Havana Club rum and Beefeater 24 gin.
