Pinnacle Drinks has apologised for the recall of several varieties of Mishka branded RTDs in glass bottles as there is a potential for the glass bottle to break upon opening.
There are four separate flavours affected by the recall as well as a 10-pack of the RTD sold nationally in BWS and Dan Murphy’s from 7 August 2017 to 20 September 2017.
In its recall notice, Pinnacle has advised it “takes product safety seriously” and the company “apologises to their customers for any inconvenience caused by this recall”.
Pinnacle has advised that “consumers should not open or consume the product and return it to their nearest BWS or Dan Murphy’s store for a full refund. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice,” the company said.
The recalled products include: Mishka Mixed Vodka Tasty Apple Lychee, Mishka Mixed Vodka Lemon Lime & Bitters, Mishka Mixed Vodka Ripe Raspberry, Mishka Mixed Vodka Guava & Watermelon and Mishka Mix It Up 10 Pack.
Mishka Mixed Vodka Tasty Apple Lychee (4.5% ABV) in 275ml bottles is being recalled with a best before date of 14 December 2018, 15 December 2018, 27 December 2018 and 28 December 2018.
Mishka Mixed Vodka Lemon Lime & Bitters (4.5% ABV) in 275ml bottles is being recalled with a best before date of 26 December 2018 and 27 December 2018.
Mishka Mixed Vodka Ripe Raspberry (4.5% ABV) in 275ml bottles is being recalled with a best before date of 28 December 2018 and 29 December 2018.
Mishka Mixed Vodka Guava & Watermelon (4.5% ABV) in 275ml bottles is being recalled with a best before date of 13 December 2018 and 14 December 2018.
All stock of the Mishka Mix it Up 10 pack (4.5% ABV) in 275ml bottles is being recalled.
The recall only applies to products with the stated best before dates which are located on the shoulder of the bottle.
