Pernod Ricard Winemakers is recalling some of its Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey Liqueur due to the presence of an undeclared allegen, sesame, on the label.

Some 750ml and 50ml bottles of Skrewball do not declare the presence of sesame on the label and the recall only applies to these bottles.

Food Standards Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ) said the products have been available for sale nationally at Dan Murphy’s, BWS, independent liquor retailers including IGA, and on premise outlets.

Consumers who have a sesame allergy or intolerance should not consume this product. Consumers should return the whiskey to the place of purchase for a full refund. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
