To celebrate the 150-year-old spirit, Sydney’s Quay Bar will be offering special $10 Cointreau cocktails this Thursday and Friday (September 4 and 5).
The cocktails available include a Cointreaupolitan, made from Cointreau, cranberry juice and lemon juice, garnished with flamed orange zest and a Cointreau Crush, made with Cointreau, Ruby Red grapefruit juice, lemon and mint leaves.
In addition, a rare black-hearted sassafras handcrafted concert piano, on loan from Stuart & Sons, will be displayed in Customs House, as well as the “Selections from The Regal Twelve” exhibition by local artist Alexia Sinclair.
Quay Bar was recently named Australian Gourmet Traveller 2009 restaurant of the year. It is at Ground Floor, Customs House, 31 Alfred Street, Circular Quay.
