Treasury Wine Estates welcomed back the tradition of Wynnsday today (Aug 4), with a tasting masterclass that reached out to retailers around the country.
Trade members in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth tuned into a simultaneous masterclass panel discussion based in Adelaide to taste the latest release Wynns wines.
Led by former Wynnsday host, George Negus, the panel included Wynns winemaker, Sue Hodder, Wynns viticulturist, Allen Jenkins, and respected wine media, James Halliday and Jeremy Oliver, and discussed the new release wines and answered questions submitted from Wynnsday attendees around the country.
Treasury Wine Estates wine ambassador, George Samios, said that the tradition of Wynnsday stood out in the minds of retailers and the company was pleased to bring the event back after a 10 year absence.
