Cityscape in Singapore.

After a four-year absence, Vinexpo Asia returns in May, with a three-day exhibition in Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. With 1,000 international exhibitors from the wine and spirits industry and an expected 8,000 visitors, Vinexpo Asia will be the first major liquor event in the Asia-Pacific region since COVID-19 disrupted the international events calendar.

Vinexpo Asia 2023 will take place from 23rd to 25th May at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, featuring wine and spirits companies from 35 countries. France will have a large presence, with each of its regions represented.

Australia, Argentina, Chile, the United States and Italy will have international pavilions, while Spain, China, Portgual, Germany, Austria, South Africa, Switzerland, Japan, Aruba, Ireland, New Zealand, the UK, Israel, Canada, South Korea, Romania, Thailand and Finland will also be represented. Many of the producers present are aiming to develop their presence across the Asia-Pacific region, including Australia.

The B2B event will attract decision makers and executives from the region’s largest wholesalers, importers, hoteliers, restaurateurs, wine merchants and e-tailers.

Educational content is always a key part of Vinexpo Asia and this year its program includes a series of masterclasses, the Major Tasting by the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux and the Battle of the Sommeliers, along with conferences hosted by prominent international experts.

Vinexpo Asia was first held in Hong Kong in 1998 but now moves to Singapore to benefit from the city state’s open-minded approach to international trade.
