Footy is back with both the AFL and NRL seasons now underway, and this Saturday promises hours of hard-hitting action with both competitions serving up a triple header.

The Saturday triple header is a huge feature for this season, with both the AFL and NRL putting on three games on Saturday and Foxtel will show every single one of them. The other bonus of Foxtel’s game coverage is that all games are live and ad-break free during play.

In the AFL the action starts at 2.10pm at the MCG with Geelong battling Essendon, before we head up to Sydney for a mouth-watering opening round derby with GWS Giants out to claim bragging rights over city rivals Sydney Swans at Stadium Australia.

Then the evening games sees the action move further up the east coast to The Gabba where Brisbane Lions will test its Premiership credentials against Port Adelaide.

The AFL triple header sees five teams strongly fancied to make the top eight in action so it’s a bumper day for footy fans, and a day that venues can’t afford to miss.

But the footy fun doesn’t stop there with the NRL serving up its own triple header, which also promises to be action-packed.

First up two teams desperate to secure their first win after tough run-outs last week as Gold Coast Titans take on New Zealand Warriors at 3pm. This is followed by the Sharks taking on the Eels at 5.30pm before an evening kick-off of the Cowboys versus the Raiders.

It’s just action, action, action and the only way you can serve up every minute to your punters is with Foxtel. Make sure your venue has all the sporting drama your punters are looking for with the best AFL and NRL coverage available.

In addition to showing every game of every round, live and ad-break free during play, Foxtel also partners with FANZO, formally MatchPint, which makes it easier for venues to promote the games on their platform, helping to bring even more punters through the door.

And while this weekend serves up huge footy action, there’s lots more to come on Foxtel, which will help keep the crowds coming in. This sporting boost in trade is key for venues after a tough two years with Covid, lockdowns and capacity restrictions.

Foxtel will also bring you the new Formula One season which, after last year’s last lap drama, promises to be huge. There are new regulations designed to help drivers race each other better, but the old rivalries are still simmering, so it’s going to be an incredible season of F1 drama, and every race is live on Foxtel.

ESPN has US sport fans covered all year with live action seven days a week. Both the NBA and NHL seasons are getting to the pointy end with play-offs looming in the coming months. The NFL season gets underway later in the year culminating in one of the biggest events of the sporting calendar, the Super Bowl.

Aussies also headline big pay-per-view events with Tim Tszyu’s US debut against Terrell Gausha on Sunday 27 March live on Main Event.

On Sunday 10 April, UFC 273 boats a blockbuster two world title bouts, the main event of which sees Alexander Volkanovski take on Chan Sung Jung, better known to fight fans as “the Korean Zombie”. Plus, a heated rivalry gets its second chapter in the co-main event, as Aljamain Sterling and Petr Yan meet for the undisputed bantamweight title.

Live sport is a great way to bring people together and bring them to your venue, and a Foxtel Business subscription delivers the magic of sport to your venue. To be part of the action head to the Foxtel website, or call 1300 761 056.
