Iconic Byron Bay brewery Stone & Wood has its first branded bar at a major airport, with the opening of the Stone & Wood bar at Sydney Airport’s T3 Qantas Terminal.
The new bar has been developed in partnership with food travel experts, SSP, which operates around 3000 food and drink outlets in travel locations in 37 countries around the world.
As well as serving Stone & Wood’s core range beers, the bar will offer a rotating selection of seasonal releases and high-quality dining options. The space promises a relaxed, welcoming coastal vibe for passengers and has been designed with the brewery’s Northern Rivers home in mind, to help guests unwind before their flight.
Stone & Wood Head of Strategy and Creative, Paul Tansley, said, “By blending SSP’s renowned hospitality expertise with Stone & Wood’s rich brewing heritage, this venue offers travellers a unique airport experience that celebrates great beer.”
SSP Chief Operating Officer SSP Australia & NZ, John Chapman, added: “The Stone & Wood bar reflects our dedication to enhancing the traveller experience by offering premium, locally-inspired beverage options. We are thrilled to collaborate with Stone & Wood to create a destination where passengers can relax, enjoy exceptional craft beer, and start their journey in a welcoming and laid-back environment.”
The bar comes as part of Sydney Airport’s plans to elevate its food and drink options for passengers, and also represents an exciting step for Stone & Wood as part of the brand’s ongoing expansion.
