Drinks consultancy Sweet&Chilli had two major wins at the recent Diageo Vendor Awards, including Vendor of the Year.
The Diageo Vendor Awards, presented for the seventh year, were held at The Standard Bowl in Surry Hills and attended by a broad variety of suppliers who have assisted Diageo in their business needs over the last 12 months.

Sweet&Chilli, which started working with Diageo in July 2013, won the ‘Breakthrough Idea’ award for its work at the Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival in late 2013 and also won the overall award for Vendor of the Year.
According to Sweet&Chilli account director for Diageo, Jared Plummer, receiving the award was “humbling and overwhelming” for his team which includes account manager, Shae Mutu, and brand ambassadors – Chris Hysted, Krystal Hart, Sean Baxter and Will Oxenham.
“It’s been a massive first year working with Diageo and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed collaborating across several areas of the Diageo business – from the Diageo Bar Academy, to the off-premise division and the extensive events we’ve curated together. We’re all very humbled here at Sweet&Chilli to have taken out Diageo Vendor of the Year 2014 in our first year of working together,” Plummer said.
