Nine breweries are joining forces for the Fresh Harvest Beer Festival which will showcase and celebrate hops-driven beers specially brewed for the festival.
The nine Sydney breweries presenting their beers at the event are: 2Halfs, Beer Fontaine, Bracket Brewing, One Drop Brewing Co, Rocks Brewing Co., Slow Lane Brewing, The Bondi Brewing Co., The Social Brewers, and Frenchies Brewery.
The event was founded in 2018 by Vincent de Soyres, master brewer and co-founder of Frenchie’s Bistro and Bar. For de Soyres, the festival showcases the unique flavours of this year’s hops harvest.
“The event will showcase beers brewed using the freshest hops from the recent harvest here in the Southern Hemisphere, as well as the latest Northern Hemisphere hops that are now available in Australia. They impart the freshest possible aromas, which are more fruity and oily in flavour and texture, resulting in the highest quality tasting brews.” he said.
The event will run from 12pm through to 10pm, with tickets available for online purchase and at the door on the day. The specially brewed beers will be available for takeaway on the day.
“We’re very excited to be re-launching the Fresh Harvest Beer Festival following its immense success a few years back, and especially as we’ve got such a legendary line-up of breweries onboard this year,” de Soyres enthused. “We’re really looking forward to bringing these special creations to The Cannery for one day only.”
