The second wave of Taylors Wines biggest ever consumer promotion will kick off at the beginning of January, offering wine-lovers the chance to win a five-day holiday for four people to the Clare Valley for an indulgent food and wine-themed getaway.
Consumers who buy any two bottles of Taylors Estate or Promised Land wines are eligible to enter the promotion, which also includes the chance to win a $250,000 grand prize and numerous chances every fortnight to win a pack of Taylors Wines valued at $250.
Specially-stickered bottles of Taylors Estate and Promised Land wine will begin to arrive in stores this month, along with POS support including header cards, shelf wobblers and posters.
Taylors CEO and third generation family member, Mitchell Taylor, said that the company is excited by the chance to execute such a large promotion.
“This is the largest promotion in our history. One lucky person could have a fantastic 2010 with the $250,000 cash prize, three others will have wonderful holidays and many Aussies will enjoy some Taylors wine on the house. It’s nice to know we can give back to our customers in this way,” said Taylor.
The promotion launched in October this year, with the first of three themed waves of chances to win.
The first theme focused on Taylor’s sponsorship of the Men’s Australian Open Golf Championship and offered a chance to win a golfing holiday to the Hyatt Regency in Coolum.
The third wave of the promotion, commencing in April next year will have a theatre and arts theme and offer consumers the chance to win a five-day Melbourne arts holiday.
Taylors anticipates that almost 15,000 consumers will have entered the promotion before it wraps up in June 2010.
