Tempus Two wines is showing its support for children’s charity, the Humpty Dumpty Foundation, by pledging to raise $7000 to assist in purchasing life-saving medical equipment for children’s hospitals across Australia.

As part of its fundraising campaign, Tempus Two winemaker, Scott Comyns, will host a three-course dinner matched to Tempus Two wines at Sydney’s Fix St James on Wednesday night (18 May).

Comyns has recently been awarded the Alasdair Sutherland Scholarship for 2011, aimed at fostering the talent of young aspiring wine show judges in the region.

As part of his prize, Comyns will attend the Australian Wine Research Institute’s Advanced Wine Assessment Course (AWAC) and have the opportunity to be an associate judge at the 2012 Royal Sydney Wine Show.

Tempus Two has also picked up three gold medals last month at the 2011 Pacific Rim Wine Competition for its 2010 Pewter Pinot Gris, 2008 Pewter Vine Vale Shiraz and 2009 Varietal Cabernet Merlot.

Held in Southern California, the competition spans two days and attracts more than 1400 wines from 10 countries.

Tickets to the Tempus Two Humpty Dumpty Foundation dinner cost $80, with $35 from every ticket being donated to the Humpty Dumpty Foundation.

Please phone Fix St James on (02) 9232 2767 to make a booking.
