The Australian Hotels Association New South Wales has narrowed down the search for the best parmi in the state to just 15 finalists in its 2024 awards.
Judges for the AHA NSW Awards for Excellence have been touring pubs across the state to whittle down the record number of entrants in what has become one of the most competitive award categories.
The finalists include pubs from Enmore to East Gosford, Bellbird to Broken Hill and everywhere in between.
The winner will be named at a gala ceremony on Tuesday, 29 October 2024 at Royal Randwick racecourse.
AHA NSW CEO John Whelan said the category is only in its fourth year but has quickly become one of the most popular parts of the annual awards.
“The parmi has long been a staple part of the pub menu, but the dishes listed in this year’s awards are in a category all their own. I congratulate all finalists for plating up the best pub parmi’s in NSW,” Whelan said.
The finalists include:

- Country Club Hotel Tooleybuc, Tooleybuc
- Elanora Hotel, East Gosford
- Golden Barley Hotel, Enmore
- Great Northern Hotel, Teralba
- Robertson Public House & Kitchen, Robertson
- Settlers Inn Hotel, Port Macquarie
- Sportsmens Club Hotel, Wagga Wagga
- Tacking Point Tavern, Port Macquarie
- The Coffs Hotel, Coffs Harbour
- The Marsden Brewhouse, Marsden Park
- The Ranch, North Ryde
- Turvey Park Hotel, Wagga Wagga
- Tydvil Hotel, Broken Hill
