Brewed in and exported from Keighley, West Yorkshire, England, the brewery sits on The Knowle Spring, the unique source of water used to brew their beers.

This exceptionally pure and consistent spring water is one of the reasons they’re able to brew beer of such reliable quality and taste.

It has filtered over time through layers of sandstone and black rock, which creates the special mineral qualities that marry perfectly with their Golden Promise barley malt, a unique and high-quality ingredient in our brewing process.

This unique combination is the foundation of the complex flavour and subtlety of Landlord. And it all begins with rain falling upon the Yorkshire hills, which is why we are always happiest when it pours, as it replenishes our unique water source.

Timothy Taylor’s only uses the very finest ingredients in their beer. Their uncompromising brewing process, adhered to with utmost dedication, ensures they deliver the taste of Taylor’s every time.

They can’t put it down to one thing, or even a couple of things. It’s the result of many things that they do their way, still the traditional way, and their steadfast refusal to compromise on the quality of ingredients or brewing.
