French wine label, Chateau de Sours, is set to relaunch in Australia under the distribution of Tyrrell’s Wines.
Chateau de Sours has been established in Bordeaux since 1792 and has recently completed a state-of-the-art restoration of its winery.
Its relaunched range includes new packaging for its sparkling Rosé, Sauvignon Blanc-based Bordeaux Blanc, Merlot-based Bordeaux Rouge and acclaimed Rosé.
According to Chateau de Sours owner, Martin Krajewski, the wines offer an affordable and high-quality Bordeaux-style wine to the Australian consumer and have an RRP of $28.
“My winemaking team do a stupendous job on combining the old world techniques with the new, and have a creative approach to producing wines which are elegant and complex, but at a price point that is accessible to the everyday wine consumer” he said.
Krajewski said he was looking forward to partnering with Tyrrell’s to distribute the Chateau de Sours wines throughout Australia.
“Tyrrell’s is a leader in the Australian wine industry and have brand prominence globally – they have strong rapport among consumers and the trade and their philosophies are built on maintaining healthy relationships in all levels of business.”
Krajewski is currently in Australia to promote the Chateau de Sours range and oversee the distribution transition to Tyrrell’s.
