Tonight marks the 30th anniversary of the Australian Liquor Industry Awards (ALIA), with the 2025 awards being held at The Fullerton Hotel, Sydney.
With around 600 people attending, this year’s ALIAs are set to live up to their reputation as the Australian liquor industry’s night of nights.
Proceedings kick off at 6pm with the ALIA Red Carpet and pre-dinner drinks, where guests can catch up with old friends, see the people you haven’t since last year’s awards, and enjoy the very best the Australian liquor and hospitality industry has to offer.
As always, the ALIAs celebrate all aspects of Australia’s liquor industry, recognising the best people, products and places across the beer, wine and spirits categories, both on- and off-premise. This year there are 64 awards up for grabs – so expect plenty of cheers and celebrations as the winners and highly commended are announced.
While tonight is about having fun, we take awards process seriously, starting with votes from thousands of industry members. These determine the finalists, whose names are then sent to a panel of 80 judges from across the industry. The results are audited by Quantaco, ensuring transparency and credibility. A huge thank you goes to the Quantaco team for once again serving as the official ALIA auditor.
This year’s theme is 90s Pop Culture, and guests can look forward to seeing how different teams interpret the theme through some incredible costumes. There are big prizes on offer for Best Dressed Female, Male and Team, and a huge thanks to by Jack Daniel’s, Patrón, Suntory -196, Brightside Executive Search, RYSE, Casella Family Brands, Better Beer, ThunderDonk and Cazcabel for sponsoring the Best Dressed Awards.
As we move into the ballroom at 7pm for dinner, guests can enjoy an extensive drinks menu and a range of Networking Bars from Bacardi, Billson’s, Patrón, Stone & Wood and ThunderDonk – with thanks also to Fever-Tree, the Official Mixer for ALIA 2025.
And when the awards wrap up at 11pm, the celebrations continue at the After Party, presented by Fireball Cinnamon Whisky.
It’s shaping up to be another unforgettable ALIA night. Good luck to all finalists – congratulations on being recognised as one of Australia’s best in your category. And a huge thank you to all our award, drink, prize, bar and after party sponsors for making the 30th annual ALIAs possible.
