A new online whisky club has launched, bringing a carefully curated selection of whiskies to Australians.
The Whisky Club is the brainchild of Bert Cason of Tasmanian distillery Sullivans Cove.
Membership is free and commits subscribers to receiving either one or two bottles of whisky per month on an ongoing basis.
"I've tried to make The Whisky Club accessible to whisky drinkers at all stages of their journey," Cason told TheShout.
"By focusing on whiskies that aren't available in the major chains, we are able to provide a unique experience to the club's members by exposing them to brands that they might not be that familiar with, while at the same time helping lesser known brands to get some exposure."
"The featured whiskies will generally range between $80 to $140, and by using the club membership’s buying power, I can secure great value for money."
The Whisky Club is offering its first 500 members the chance to win a bottle of Sullivans Cove French Oak cask HH509, currently valued at $3750, which made whisky history in 2012 when it became the highest scoring Australian whisky in Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible.
Hi.
I am trying to buy a bottle of 21 year old Famous Grouse, or similar, as a gift, can you help?
Regards, Barry.
