The first-ever Whisky Show comes to Sydney this week, with over 150 different whiskies to try, as well as a range of master classes, tastings and presentations
Organised by specialist whisky retailer, World of Whisky, the two-day exhibition on Friday July 20 and Saturday July 21 will be held at The Tattersalls Club and will feature stands from 17 suppliers.
Whisky will be available for purchase from a satellite store, while brand ambassadors and whisky producers will also be on hand to answer any questions and discuss all things whisky-related.
The Australasian Whisky Awards will be held as part of the event, with the aim of highlighting the great whiskies being produced in Australia and New Zealand.
In addition, guests will be able to taste the winning drink from the Glenmorangie Cocktail Competition, which was held in association with The Whisky Show.
There is also a trip for two to tour Tasmania’s whisky distilleries up for grabs, courtesy of the Tasmanian Whisky Producers Association, with entry open to anyone who purchases a bottle of Tasmanian whisky during The Whisky Show.
Tickets are $50 and available through World of Whisky.
