William Grant & Sons is giving the readers of National Liquor News, Australian Hotelier and bars&clubs the chance to win a 'Gorilla' of Monkey Shoulder, the world's first 'triple malt' distilled whisky.
Monkey Shoulder's unusual name comes direct from the pages of malt whisky history, referring to the temporary strain suffered by distillery workers when turning the malting barley by hand. Unlike traditional blends, Monkey Shoulder is made from 100 per cent malt whisky with no grain whisky added, resulting in a rich, smooth malt flavour.
Each Gorilla of Monkey Shoulder is as gigantic as it sounds and comes with its own stand to hold the behemoth of fine whisky inside. Standing at almost two feet tall and containing 4.5 litres of Monkey Shoulder, each Gorilla is valued at over $500.
To enter, all you need to do is find within the pages of the August edition of National Liquor News or Australian Hotelier or July/August edition of bars&clubs the 'Three Monkeys' that call every bottle of Monkey Shoulder home (pictured above left). Tell us what page they're hiding on and also, in 25 words or less, what the Three Monkeys did or did not do.
Email your response to editorial@54.64.152.77 by Friday, 21 September for your chance to win.
