Several wine companies have announced new key staff appointments in recent weeks.
Pernod Ricard Pacific has appointed Kerry Parkin to the position of global wine PR manager.
Parkin will be responsible for executing strategic global public relations plans across Pernod Ricard's wine portfolio for brands including Jacob's Creek, Brancott Estate, Campo Viejo and Graffigna.
Parkin has previously worked in a PR capacity for companies such as Virgin Mobile, Microsoft and Telstra, along with freelance wine writing for major consumer publications.
Casella Wines has announced that Matthew Davidson will join the family-owned company as its new Asia Pacific export sales manager.
Davidson will be responsible for driving Yellow Tail’s growth in the Asian market, building relationships with key partners and overseeing the activation of sales initiatives.
Davidson has over nine years experience in the wine industry, having previously worked for Constellation Wines International and Samuel Smith & Son.
Western Australia’s Capel Vale Wines has names Stewart Hodges as its new national sales manager, coordinating all major sales activities with the assistance of Fine Wine Partners.
Hodges has extensive experience in the Australasian wine industry and over the past 12 years has worked with companies such as Poole’s Rock Wines, Margan Family Wines and Domaine Wine Shippers.
