Wolf Blass has released two limited edition wines to celebrate its partnership with the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup.
Available through BWS stores nationally, Wolf Blass has rolled out the Captain’s Release Limited Edition Chardonnay and Shiraz to coincide with the ICC Cricket World Cup’s return to Australia after a 23 year absence.
“Wolf Blass have a long association with cricket both in Australia and the UK and are proud to support this once in a generation opportunity to see the best players and best teams going head to head in our back yard,” said Treasury Wine Estates marketing director for Australia and New Zealand, Lisa Saunders.
“Wolf Blass enjoys a strong and lasting relationship with BWS and its 1250 strong national network of stores and we are excited to be working with such a valued partner to bring these unique, collector’s edition, ICC wines to market. The wines will be supported through TV, catalogue press, and digital through to in-store and is a great opportunity for both businesses to capitalise on a key event.”
In addition to the Captain’s Release wines, BWS and Wolf Blass are offering customers who spend $50 or more on Wolf Blass wines the opportunity to purchase a Cricket Cooler for $39.99 including delivery.
The Cricket Cooler was made famous on Channel Ten’s ‘Shark Tank’ program and is a 33 litre cooler with a set of stumps attached.
The Wolf Blass Captain’s Release Limited Edition Chardonnay and Shiraz have an RRP of $14.99.
