Exceptional quality. Incredible value.

Winemaker’s Note
The green tinged, pale lemon colour leads to an aroma of freshly picked tropical fruits, gooseberries and mandarins. The palate is delicate with a refreshing crisp dry finish. Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc are wonderfully complementary varieties: Semillon giving depth and structure to the wine and Sauvignon Blanc the zesty “jump out of the glass” tropical florals.

Vintage
The 2008 vintage after an early start, was marked by perfect harvest weather, warm days and cool nights during February. This was then followed by a burst of heat at the end.

Vineyards
It is a blend of Barossa Semillon, (51%) and Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc (49%), drawing on the varietal strengths of each premium grape growing region.

Winemaking
The fruit was picked early, crushed, chilled & the juice immediately separated from the skins to enhance delicacy. Following cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine was clarified and bottled.

Enjoy
Serve lightly chilled for a great sip any time of day. It is a great accompaniment to shellfish, pan fried fish and many Thai and Chinese dishes.
