Scholars of the 2024 Len Evans Tutorial have been announced, with 12 of Australia’s wine professionals set to participate in the 22nd Tutorial.
Since its founding in 2001, the Len Evans Tutorial has been an invaluable training ground, with many of its previous scholars going on to hold pivotal roles in the wine industry, including wine show chairs and senior wine judges.

Sally Evans, Chair of the Board, said: “The Selection Panel was once again knocked out by the calibre of applicants, with a stellar short list that made the final twelve the topic of much discussion as we aim to create a balanced group from across the industry and the country.
“The Board encourages all those who were unsuccessful to continue to refine their skills and reapply in 2025.”
Scholars will attend the Len Evans Tutorial in the Hunter Valley from 4 to 8 November 2024, with all tuition, accommodation, travel, wine and food covered by Tutorial sponsors and donors.
Philanthropist Basil Sellers will continue as Patron of the Len Evans Tutorial.
