Sydney’s 4 Pines Brewing Co. has opened its third hospitality venue, 4 Pines Underground in Manly.

Located underneath the brewery’s original venue, 4 Pines BrewPub, and opposite Manly Wharf, 4 Pines Underground is an all-day eatery serving breakfast through to shared snacks and mains.

Co-founder Sheree Mitchell is responsible for the interior design of all 4 Pines venues, with her design influence for 4 Pines Underground a log cabin. The result is a warm and cosy space packed with rustic, recycled timbers paired with black steel and bunker lighting.

The venue has 12 beer taps featuring a range of 4 Pines’ core and Keller Door small batch beers, matched to dishes on the menu.

In addition to the beers, Australian wines, spirits and cocktails are available, as well as smoothies, pressed juices, milkshakes and Single Origin coffee.

Group executive chef Rob de Paulo has developed the menu and will be supported in-venue by head chef Pablo Siebeneichler.

The 4 Pines Underground menu features a number of sharing dishes such as fresh octopus on a bed of potato and chorizo, Japanese-style tempura seasonal vegetables and Szechuan squid with lime aioli.

It’s a busy time for 4 Pines, which also just launched its Before, During & After Christmas beer pack. With something to suit every silly season occasion, the pack includes the brewery’s Kolsch, Christmas Saison, Pale Ale and West Coast Red Rye.

The Christmas packs are available now from all leading liquor stores, RRP $29.99.
