Hospitality group Merivale has announced the appointment of a new marketing director as well as a new head of content.
Andrew El-Bayeh, who has been with the group for four years, has been made the marketing director.
He said: "I have an innate passion for the hospitality industry and am thrilled to be leading brand strategy during what is undoubtedly the most exciting period of growth for the group. I am constantly inspired by the evolving landscape of digital and content marketing; and look forward to working alongside my passionate colleagues to engage our audiences in new and innovative ways."
As marketing director, El-Bayeh will be responsible for leading the marketing, creative and production departments, with a specific focus on developing Merivale’s customer experience, data strategy and content publishing.
El-Bayeh has engaged Sarah Ranawake as the group's head of content, a role which will see her take responsibilty for Merivale's content strategy and execution across online, social and video.
Ranawake said: “I have long admired the Merivale brand and been a regular guest at its many bars and restaurants, so I feel both excited and privileged to be joining the team at such a pivotal time. Merivale has such a wealth of passionate and talented experts from chefs and sommeliers to stylists, DJs and even gardeners. I cannot wait to tell their stories and create innovative lifestyle content that excites and engages our guests."
