Absolut and SodaStream have teamed up for a unique gift-with-purchase promotion this summer that targets the independent liquor retail channel and the at-home cocktail connoisseur.

The new partnership between the two brands offers consumers who spend $50 or more on participating Pernod Ricard products the chance to redeem a SodaStream Play Drinks Maker valued at $99.

Consumers can also access a collection of eight easy to recreate cocktail recipes using SodaStream bases and Absolute vodka which have been specially designed by Pernod Ricard’s spirits education manager, Ben Davidson.

“We are always experimenting and looking to inspire and delight people with creative and extraordinary ideas,” said Pernod Ricard Australia’s marketing director, Anne Martin.

“Both Absolut and SodaStream are brands with a richness of history and spirit of innovation making this the perfect partnership.”

SodaStream Australia’s managing director Myles Anceschi said SodaStream was well-positioned to make the most of the growing trend of cocktail making at home.

“SodaStream originated as a mixer for spirits and we know, via consumer research, customising drinks at home is more popular than ever, so to be able to team up with an iconic brand such as Absolut is really exciting.”

SodaStream also recently launched SodaStream Caps, a single serve capsule system that includes the Happy Hour Caps range featuring a collection of cocktail mixers.
