Absolut Los Angeles is made with blueberry, acai berry, acerola cherry and pomegranate and is now available in the US, Just-Drinks reported.
The campaign that saw Absolut New Orleans flavoured vodka launched in 2007 was inspired by the iconic ‘cities’ advertising campaign of the late 80s and 90s that saw dozens of world centres parodied for poster ads.
To mark the release of the new city-inspired flavour, Absolut will receive a ‘Friend of the Walk of Fame’ honorary star on Hollywood Boulevard.
"Through our ‘In an Absolut world’ campaign, we challenge consumers to imagine their own ideal, and Los Angeles is one of the most idealistic places on earth," said The Absolut SpiritsCompany (TASC) vice-president of marketing, Tim Murphy.
TASC is the New York-based marketing and distribution arm of V&S in the US.
