Adelaide venue The Lodge Hotel, formerly known as The Brahma Lodge, has officially opened its doors to the public after undergoing a major renovation and rebranding valued at $4 million – establishing itself as the newest hotspot in South Australia’s north.

“We found there was a real gap in the market in the northern suburbs for a contemporary venue for social gatherings with good food and wine,” says Independent Pub Group CEO, Greg Maitland.

“The Lodge has now become the destination of choice in the north whether it be for after work drinks, Saturday night outings or lazy Sunday sessions and prides itself on being a venue where people can wine and dine in a comfortable, laid-back ambience,” he says.

Featuring contemporary bistro dining, outside Al Fresco dining, a sports bar and a reinvigorated gaming room and retail offering, The Lodge is now targeted at a much broader market, with atmosphere and experience being the key focus for the new offering.

“There were no complications with the transformation as we were extremely happy with the designer/architect – KP Architects – who have overseen several IPG refits, as well as the builders – Structural Concept.”
