Over 500 tradesmen have descended on Darling Harbour to construct the 185 stands that will form Australia's biggest gaming event – this year's Australasian Gaming Expo.
Taking place next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, over 1000 truckloads of the world's best and latest gaming and hospitality equipment and over 750 new machines will be on show across 15,000 square metres of the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Exhibition tradesmen including carpenters, electricians, carpet layers and riggers will be working around the clock until Monday to build one of the world's largest expos of this type. [continued below]
More than 7400 venue operators and hospitality professionals from around the world have already registered for the three-day showcase.
The Gaming Technologies Association, which owns and manages the event, is again giving away a trip for two to the world capital of gaming, Las Vegas, each day of the expo.
