Dates for the new, improved and relocated Australasian Gaming Expo have been announced for 2014, set to take place at the picturesque new centre on Glebe Island.

Australia’s gaming industry body the Gaming Technologies Association (GTA) has entered a new phase with its AGE, this year celebrating its Silver anniversary and for the first time not at the now demolished Sydney Conference and Exhibition Centre.

Continuing the move to mid-week the Expo will take place Tuesday 12th to Thursday 14th of August and signs are that exhibitors will be in full force, with 93 per cent of the 15,600 square metre space already booked.

Winner of last year’s award for best stand, Polysafe – bought by International hospitality supplier Trenton last November – has already confirmed its real estate for 2014, and director Paul Parks told TheShout he is looking forward to pitting their unbreakable drinkware products against offerings from the multitude of other exhibitors.

“AGE is a great expo, which has been running for years, connecting great products to the hospitality industry,” said Parks. “It will be great to see the up and coming exhibit and what innovations are on offer in 2014.”

Changes resulting from the venue switch include: breathtaking views of the harbour, and alfresco cafes serving quality expresso coffee.

The GTA will again roll the dice and send two lucky visitors from each day on a trip to the mecca of gaming – Las Vegas.
