SouthTrade International’s Agwa cocktail competition, The Bolivian Job 2, has reached the final stages but there is still time to head online and vote for your favourite entry and help decide the winner.

After touring the Agwa Masterclass sessions throughout Australia earlier this year – and following on from the box office success of The Bolivian Job in 2011 – SouthTrade International once again invited bartenders across the country to audition for the cast of The Bolivian Job 2.

This year’s competition attracted over 100 entries from bartenders, who could submit any style of cocktail as long as 30ml of Agwa was used as the base ingredients. The top entry from each state was chosen to be a finalist.

The five finalists are Mark Pinel (QLD), Tim Laferla (WA), Erin Shaw (Cushdy), Jon Carr (NSW) and Gorge Camorra (VIC). Their drinks and recipes are available to view, and vote on, at The Bolivian Job 2 website

Anyone that votes also goes into the draw for the chance to win an iPad 3.

The winner will be announced on August 17 and they will walk away with $2,500 cash prize. The other four finalists will not walk away empty handed though, with each to receive $500 for themselves and their venue.

The five state finalists and two runners up for each state will have their drinks featured in an Agwa Signature Cocktail Booklet that will appear in the September/October issue of bars&clubs magazine.
