Australia’s largest hotel and pub owner operator, ALH Group, is continuing its expansion in accommodation sites.

The group now has 90 accommodation hotels, pubs and resorts Australia-wide and is looking to continue to grow its portfolio in the coming years.

ALH’s national accommodation manager, Brett Salter, told TheShout: "We've been extremely busy over the past two years with significant investment to re-invigorate our collection of rooms.

"We inherited rooms that were closed many years ago by previous owners, some of these in key demand areas across suburban in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Gold Coast. Over the past 12 months. We've also grown our accommodation via acquisitions in the Sunshine Coast, Melbourne metro and another 32 rooms in Emerald, Queensland, which will settle next month.

"There is a lot more to achieve over the next two years and it's exciting to see this unique collection of accommodation evolve not only for ALH but more importantly our growing number of guests."

Earlier this month TheShout revealed that the group, which is a joint venture between The Mathieson Group and Woolworths, will once again revert its leadership to the Mathieson family.
