The Australian Liquor Stores Association (ALSA) has confirmed the line up of speakers for its upcoming conference, kicking off at the Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove on Sunday 26 August.

Now in its 19th year, the annual ALSA conference will see a change of format, opening with a presentation by motivational speaker and mountaineer, Mark Inglis, before moving on to informative business sessions that include presentations by Michael Walton from Nielsen, economist Peter Switzer, and DrinkWise Australia CEO and Olympian, Mike McKay.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to hear from key suppliers and have access to special deals and the latest products at the ALSA Trade Day and Expo.

ALSA chief executive officer, Terry Mott, said the conference provides a unique opportunity for liquor retailers to gain insight to their business in an informative and social setting.

“This year’s ALSA conference is an important opportunity to rethink, to learn how to identify and implement new strategies to grow your retail business in a responsible and sustainable way in a very challenging business environment,” Mott said.

Delegate packages are still available, but places are filling up quickly.
