ALSA Retail Insights, the industry inspired professional development program, has added an 11th module covering the area of Online Sales to its program.

With more than 10,000 visits to the website to date, the ALSA Retail Insights program is setting the benchmark for information available to liquor retailers to assist them with their business decisions.

The Online Sales module deals with the principles of online retailing, starting with the premise that before retailers decide to develop a web site, they need to establish what they want it to ‘stand for’ and how they want to be ‘seen’ by their customers.

It also takes retailers through many of the other relevant aspects of online retailing as well as arming them with some of the facts about the growing segment.

The ALSA Retail Insights website remains accessible to all in the industry for the present time. Within the next few months, its access will be via subscription. State based Liquor Stores Association members will receive free access as a part of their membership subscription and those suppliers who are partners in the program will also have access.
