Angove Family Winemakers has announced it will be the exclusive Australian distributor for Clare Valley winery Koonowla, starting May 1.
Angove said Koonowla's Clare Valley property is one of the region's most iconic and it is planted to Cabernet, Shiraz and Riesling. The wines to be carried by Angove from Koonowla include AJM The Reserve Shiraz, Koonowla Estate and the Ringmaster.
Koonowla principal Andrew Michael said: "I am extremely proud to be joining the fine stable of brands distributed by Angove Family Winemakers as their Clare producer, giving us truly national distribution in both on and off-premise for the first time in our history."
Agency brands distributed by Angove Family Winemakers include Charles Cimicky, Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte, Ferngrove, Gibbston Valley, Glenfarclas, Killerby, Mount Riley, Quinta do Pego, Temple Bruer, Tulloch, Turkey Flat, Villa Jolanda, Water Wheel and Wicks Estate along with the company's range of proprietary products.
