Gaming giant Aristocrat has made two key appointments in its sales and marketing team, to enhance the company’s ‘go to market’ and customer service capability.
Michael Ahearne has joined Aristocrat in the position of Chief Operating Officer Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) reporting to Aristocrat’s Managing Director – Australia and New Zealand, Trevor Croker.
Ahearne has extensive gaming experience, previously with Tabcorp for more than nine years, where he held a number of senior executive roles at Star City Casino, including General Manager – Electronic Gaming, General Manager – Table Games and, most recently, Chief Operating Officer – Gaming.
“We are in the process of implementing a number of changes within Aristocrat from investing more in sales and marketing capability to streamlined management structures to ensure we’re more responsive to customer feedback and needs,” Croker said.
“I am therefore very excited to have a candidate of Michael’s calibre join the team, and in particular that he has experience as an Aristocrat customer which will be invaluable in helping us see the world from our customers’ point of view.”
In another senior appointment, Jeffery Gray has been appointed Sales Director Australia and Business Transformation Director ANZ, to lead Aristocrat’s Australian sales team and continue its program to transform the business into a world-class sales and marketing organisation.
Gray has held several roles across Australia and New Zealand with Aristocrat and brings more than 18 years of management experience to the role.
“I am confident that we have one of the most experienced management teams in the industry to help grow our customers’ business well into the future,” Croker said.
