Armand de Brignac Champagne has announced the appointment of Australian Bernadette Knight as its global chief marketing officer.

Knight will oversee all marketing strategy and initiatives for the luxury champagne collection, including branding, public relations, events, and promotion.

 “We are thrilled to have Bernadette join the team,” said Sebastien Besson, CEO of Armand de Brignac Champagne.  “Bernadette’s extensive knowledge and background in the champagne industry will ensure the brand’s luxury heritage, craftsmanship and exceptional quality is effectively communicated, as she begins to lead our marketing efforts across the world.”

A native of New South Wales, Knight’s experience spans more than a decade in the luxury wine and spirits industry, working with champagne brands such as Veuve Clicquot, Krug, Ruinart and Taittinger.  

Knight's appointment comes on the back of double digit growth for the brand in 2015 and the company added that the appointment "emphasises Armand de Brignac’s deep commitment to strengthening its presence in the luxury champagne market".
