Australian-owned Artisan Spirit Merchants (ASM) has appointed Nick Mann its Global Marketing Director responsible for international brand management, sales, and digital marketing.

Prior to his appointment, Mann (pictured) represented brands such as Sky Vodka, Black Douglas Scotch, Cougar Bourbon, Strongbow and Bulmers Cider in his role as General Manager of Marketing for Foster’s spirits, cider and RTD business.

Previously Mann worked for Treasury Wine Estates, Belron (O’Brien) and Motorola, where as marketing director (Australia, mobiles phones) he was promoted to marketing director for South-East Asia, where he oversaw rapid growth of the Motorola brand.

With ASM’s plans to expand into Asia, the brand is banking on Mann’s proven knowledge of the market.

“I am very excited to be joining ASM at such a significant time in its formation,” said Mann.

“I look forward to working with once more with Chris Flaherty and the rest of the ASM Board of Directors as they take this Australian business global while also working on new innovative products.”

ASM is now part of the Beam portfolio and the producer of Vodka O, Australia’s third highest-selling premium mainstream vodka brand behind Smirnoff and Absolut.
