Wine Australia is launching a trade competition for Australian wineries, cellar doors, restaurants, bars and retailers as part of its Aussie Wine Month in May.

The annual celebration of Australian wine runs events throughout May and those who register an event or promotion can enter a competition to win prizes valued at up to $4000.

All off-premise retailers and on-premise venues that register an Aussie Wine Month event or promotion can win a place on Wine Australia’s Trade Immersion Program, a week-long hosted trip to a number of Australian wine regions.

Sommeliers who register events can win a $4000 travel bursary to visit Australian wine regions of their choosing.

And wineries or cellar door that register a Wine Month event or promotion can win the choice of three prizes to the value of $4000. Those prizes are:

  • Up to $4000 towards a weekend away for two people to the wine region of your choice
  • Up to $4000 put towards digital marketing activity to help build brand or promote  wines
  • Up to $4000 to put towards any Wine Australia user-pays activities in its Market Programs.
