Australian Bitters has released three new flavours, which have been developed in conjunction with leading bartenders from Sydney.
The three flavours are Grapefruit Bitters, Orange Bitters and Barrel Spice Bitters, with each one hand-crafted from natural ingredients including orange peel, grapefruit peel, herbs and spices.
Based in the Sydney suburb of Seven Hills, Australian Bitters developed the three new flavours in response to a request from bartenders, who, the company says, “identified a need for further flavours to satisfy the growing demand for premium cocktails”.
The company added: “These are not just for cocktails though, try giving your classic gin and tonic a refreshing bright citrus twist with a few dashes of Grapefruit Bitters.”
In terms of cocktail recommendations for the new flavours they include a Hemmingway Daiquiri using the Grapefruit Bitters, an Old Fashioned with Orange Bitters and a Whiskey Sour using the Barrel Spice Bitters.
The new flavours, along with the original Aromatic Bitters, are available through Coca-Cola Amatil.
