Wine Communicators of Australia hosted a panel discussion and tasting looking at the opportunities for Australian Rosé on the domestic and international markets.

The panel session was led by NSW Chapter Chair, Lisa Webber and included industry experts Trish Barry, Managing Director of Mastermind Consulting and one of the leaders of Rosé Revolution; Peter Logan, Winemaker at Logan Wines and Andy Young, editor of TheShout.

The key outcomes from the evening were the potential to position Australia as leaders of Rosé wine, the opportunity to demonstrate the versatility of Rosé as a complement to food and how we might influence consumers at the point of purchase to both navigate the many styles and ultimately to purchase Rosé wines.

Attendees also had the opportunity to explore 30 Australian Rosé wines from a broad range of styles and network with other wine industry colleagues.
