As Australian consumers become increasingly conscious regarding what they choose to eat and drink, venues must ensure they offer a range of premium products that satisfy the health checks.

H2Coco has established itself as an industry leader with its premium coconut-based products, the trending non-alcoholic beverage choice for 2015.

First launched into the Australian market by young entrepreneur David Freeman in 2012, H2Coco's product range has now expanded from coconut water and coconut oil to include an Australian first – Cocoespresso, a full shot of coffee infused with H2Coco coconut water.

Using Robusta coffee beans, Cocoespresso is the ultimate hydrating and energising drink that makes the perfect substitute for a morning coffee with all the added goodness of coconut water.

Not only lactose and dairy free, it is also fat and gluten free, not made from concentrate and suitable for vegan and kosher diets. This non-alcoholic option can be served on its own or even in an Espresso Martini.

“Eliminating the pain from a hangover the next day, H2Coco is the perfect mixer,” says Freeman.

“Coconut water is the perfect non-alcoholic offering for venue’s serving alcoholic beverages as it provides the end consumer with an opportunity to hydrate fast.”

Similarly, Coca-Cola South Pacific this month announced the release of the highly anticipated Coca-Cola Life.

As the first major brand from Coca-Cola in Australia to combine sugar and the natural sweetness of Stevia, Coca Cola Life demonstrates the company’s innovation and drive to meet the demands of consumers.

Managing director Lisa Winn says the addition has been developed in response to a consumer demand to shake up the category.

“We’re extremely excited to be offering Coca-Cola Life in Australia, a great addition to the Coca-Cola family,” she says.

“We’re confident that the new formulation is what consumers have been looking for. We’ve achieved the best possible taste of Coca-Cola, but with 35 per cent reduced sugar and kilojoules. Coke Life isn’t simply a new product from Coca-Cola – it’s another great choice for people who want a delicious Coca-Cola to fit their lifestyle. There is now a Coca-Cola option for everyone.”
