To celebrate 100 years since the iconic Daiquiri cocktail left Cuban shores to infiltrate the world over, Bacardi has released a special limited edition heritage bottling of Bacardi Superior rum and TheShout has two prize packs, each including a bottle of the limited edition rum to give away.

Produced in the Destilería La Galarza in Mexico, the special heritage bottling of has replica of a 100-year-old label and has been bottled at the original alcohol strength of 44.5% abv.

“The greatest challenge was to ensure that when creating the spirit with the same alcohol strength as it was around 100 years ago, it would, like all Bacardi Superior rum, have the same flavour profile as it did in 1862,” said Bacardi master blender, José Sánchez Gavito.

“After much work and many tastings I achieved just that and when I tasted the spirit for the first time I fell in love with Bacardi Superior rum all over again.”

For the giveaway, each prize pack consists of 1 x bottle of Bacardi limited edition heritage rum and 1 x copy of Bacardi global brand ambassador David Cordoba's exclusive legacy cocktail book 'Artes de Cocteles'.
