Following the success of this year’s Bacardi Express — a two-day train journey featuring live concerts — Bacardi Lion has announced its return in 2009.

From March 26 to 28, the two-day journey runs from Melbourne to Sydney and will feature free concerts along the way in Melbourne, Wagga Wagga, Wollongong and Sydney.

International headliners Groove Armada have been announced as one of five acts to perform.

Bacardi Lion senior brand manager, Kristie Asciak, said that the event would build upon Bacardi’s association with the music industry.

“We’re excited to be rolling out this concept again, something that has proven to resonate with our consumers and create a long-lasting positive brand experience,” she said.

Consumers will have the chance to win tickets by entering one of the promotions through online, on-pack or with media partners.
