Former Beam brand director Ray Noble has been appointed to the position of marketing director with Bacardi Martini Australia.

The role will see Noble report into managing director Denis Brown as well as being part of the BMA executive team.

In a statement Brown said: "Ray is an entrepreneurial marketing professional with 20 years’ liquor industry experience. He is a commercially savvy marketer with an impressive record of delivering financial results through building distinctive brands, driving innovation and inspiring winning teams. 

Brown added: "His experience includes commercial leadership of market leading brands such as Jim Beam and Jack Daniel’s, the successful repositioning of brands to drive significant growth with Canadian Club, accelerating luxury premium portfolios to deliver incremental profit (Makers Mark, Knob Creek, Jim Beam premium range) and driving successful long term innovation (Jim Beam Premium Spirits, CC RTD, JB Devils Cut Full Spirit and RTD, JB Zero RTD).  He understands male recruitment for spirits and RTD.

"I am looking for him to build a strong marketing team which works closely with customer marketing and sales.  He will support our brand building agenda through the brand managers and the development of our marketing capabilities especially Bacardi Marketing Way and digital capabilities supporting Daniel.  He will lead the development of our three year marketing and innovation plan.  Ray is a passionate brand builder looking for fresh ways to engage consumers while making sure you have fun doing it."

Noble started his role on Monday 13 July.
