Spirits distributor Bacardi Lion has announced five new appointments to its marketing team.

Beverley Mackenzie has been appointed marketing manager – brand management, with her responsibilities to include brand strategy development and marketing team investment planning.

Mackenzie joins Bacardi Lion with local and international marketing experience at FMCG businesses such as Unilever, Nestle and Johnson & Johnson.

Justine von Reibnitz, who left Diageo's innovation team last year, has joined Bacardi Lion as marketing manager – portfolio strategy. She will lead the consumer insights team, managing business innovation and development planning. 

Both Mackenzie and von Reibnitz will report to marketing director Suzie MacDermott.

Meanwhile, Brad Richter returns to the business as senior brand manager – vodka and gin, Chanel Liquori has been appointed Victorian brand ambassador and Emily Revell has been appointed as market activation assistant.
