Ballantine’s three-year partnership with the Football Federation of Australia has capped off a successful first season with the conclusion of the 2007/ 2008 domestic A-League.

The success of this partnership climaxed at the A-League Finals with Ballantine’s Fan Cam allowing football fans to record messages that were played to the entire stadium during half-time.

Ballantine’s brand manager, Monica Hart, said the highly integrated campaign offered something innovative to fans.

“We wanted to give the fans the opportunity to send their support to the players and the Ballantine’s Fan Cam allowed us to harness the team spirit, rivalry and excitement of the grand final to deliver a unique experience to the fans,” she said.

The partnership was promoted with a variety of off-premise activities, including sampling of Ballantine’s RTDs, football-themed GWPs and a national consumer promotion to win a foosball table.
