Following on from the success of the 2008 liquor trivia competition, local industry company Behind Bars has announced it will be back again for 2010.

Nine state-based heats will be held over the coming months, with Victoria and Queensland kicking things off tonight (Mar 15) at the Galley Room in Melbourne and The Lark in Brisbane.

The first NSW heat will be held next Monday (Mar 22) at Eau de Vie in Darlinghurst. Each heat will be hosted by Behind Bars' trainers., with Nick van Tiel hosting in NSW, Sean Baxter in Victoria and Jay Lambert in Queensland.

Dedicated entirely to the topic of liquor, the competition is expected to attract dozens of top bartenders from across the country.

The final will be held in Sydney in September.
