Nineteen of Melbourne’s top bars have signed up to the Bar Safari drinks promotion, which is being run in conjunction with Time Out as part of the Top Shelf boutique drinks festival.

The Bar Safari promotion runs from Sunday February 2 till Saturday February 8, during which selected Melbourne bars will be offering patrons a signature animal themed drink for $12.

Bar patrons will receive a Bar Safari passport as part of the promotion, which will enable them to earn themselves free tickets to Top Shelf for the consumer day.

“Each bar has a unique animal ink stamp. When a customer orders a limited-edition ‘animal’ drink, they get a stamp in their passport. Four different stamps earn them two free tickets to Top Shelf on Sunday (9 February),” said Top Shelf organiser Paul Wootton.
