Michael Houlihan and Bonnie Harvey who founded Barefoot Wines, the world's number one selling wine, are heading to Australia to talk about they built their brand in the US.

The pair will be talking in Melbourne on 2 September at a US Export focus conference hosted by Australian Trade Tasting. The conference is described as a "must attend event" for anyone looking to enter the US market or improve their sales if already there.

Michael and Bonnie will discuss the strategies they employed to grow the Barefoot brand into a national icon in USA. The pair founded Barefoot in 1986 and developed the "disruptive" label into an award-winning, non-vintage brand which was targeted at the female US consumer. The brand also developed a colourful and fun image and featured an easy-to-understand label.

Barefoot is now sold in over 80 countries around the world and this conference aims to give attendees the opportunity to meet Michael and Bonnie in person and learn first-hand about their experiences in developing their brand and growing in the US market.
